Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using JBZY, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after a change means you accept the updated version.

2. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is not an account and does not create an obligation on either side. We may contact you about launch; you may ask to be removed at any time. Nothing about the waitlist guarantees access, a place in any queue, or a particular launch date.

3. Your responsibilities

• You must be at least 16 years old to use JBZY.
• You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure.
• Everything you provide must be accurate. You may not impersonate another person or organisation.
• You may not use JBZY for an unlawful purpose or in any way that breaks these Terms.

4. Platform rules

The following are not allowed:

• Fake profiles — false identities, fabricated credentials, or misleading information.
• Spam — unsolicited messages, bulk applications, or automated abuse of any kind.
• Fraudulent postings — jobs that do not exist, contain misleading details, or exist to harvest personal data.
• Harassment — abusive, discriminatory or threatening behaviour toward anyone on the platform.
• Circumventing payment — arranging Quick Job payment outside the JBZY escrow system.

5. Quick Jobs and payment

Quick Jobs are short paid tasks posted by recruiters and claimed by seekers. The following terms apply:

• Escrow — the full budget is held via Stripe when the job is posted, and is not transferred until the recruiter confirms completion.
• Platform fee — JBZY charges 15% on Quick Job payments, deducted from the budget before the seeker is paid.
• Confirmation — a recruiter has 7 days to confirm after the seeker marks a job done, after which funds release automatically.
• Cancellation — an open, unclaimed job can be cancelled for a full refund. Jobs already in progress cannot be cancelled by one side alone.

6. Disputes

A recruiter who believes a Quick Job was not completed as agreed may open a dispute within 48 hours of it being marked done. While a dispute is open, escrowed funds stay held, and both sides may be asked for evidence. We aim to review within 48 hours of submission. Our decision on releasing or refunding those funds is final.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings; doing so removes your profile from search. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these Terms, engages in fraud, or harms other users. Transaction records may be retained where we are required to keep them.

8. Liability

JBZY is provided as is. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of job postings, or the conduct of other users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JBZY is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
